You have the report. Now what?
A report can tell you a great deal about a child and still leave the hardest question unanswered: what does this mean for the child who has to get through an ordinary school day?
Report-to-Reality brings the pieces together and turns them into practical educational support.
The report is one part of the picture
I look at the professional evidence alongside school history, teacher feedback, parent observations and the learner’s own experience. The useful information is often in the places where those pieces agree, and in the places where they do not.

The question is not simply: can they do it?
I look at three things together: capacity, access and cost. A learner may have the ability to understand the work but struggle to access that ability consistently under the demands of school. They may also be succeeding at a cost that is easy to miss if we look only at marks.
Strong ability, acceptable results or a calm presentation at school do not automatically tell us that the current setup is working well.
Knowing and showing are different things
A child may know the answer and still struggle with everything required to produce it in the form school expects: starting, organising, remembering instructions, managing time, switching between steps, writing, retrieving information or coping with pressure.
Breaking a task down helps us see whether the difficulty is with the learning itself or with the conditions required to show that learning.
The environment counts too
School fit is about the match between this learner and the conditions they are expected to manage every day: pace, noise, written output, executive demands, social load, level of challenge, flexibility and support.
What you leave with
The outcome depends on the question, but the aim is practical. You should leave with a clearer picture of the learner, what appears to be getting in the way, what can change now and what still needs answering.

What this is not
Report-to-Reality is not another psychoeducational assessment and it does not add diagnoses or replace the professionals who assessed your child. I work educationally with the evidence that already exists and with what is happening in real life.
Sometimes the information is already there and needs to be brought together differently. Sometimes a genuine gap remains and another professional needs to answer it. Both are useful findings.
