Nicola Killops | The Neuroparenting Hub

Neurodivergent, gifted and 2e learning support

Nicola Killops

Education specialist | Founder, The Neuroparenting Hub

Families rarely arrive with one neat problem. They arrive with reports, diagnoses, teacher feedback, school concerns, years of noticing patterns at home and a child who may be telling a very different story through behaviour, avoidance, shutdown, frustration or uneven performance.

I bring those pieces together and look at what they mean educationally: how the child is processing, coping and learning, what is getting in the way and what can actually change at home and at school.

The Neuroparenting Hub

Making sense of the whole learning picture

I work with neurodivergent, gifted and twice-exceptional learners, and with the parents and schools trying to understand them properly. The focus is practical: what the learner’s profile means for schoolwork, pressure, communication, support and the decisions that come next.

Report-to-Reality™

From information to something you can use

Reports, profiling, parent observations, teacher feedback and learner voice are brought into one educational picture, then translated into practical strategies, clearer school communication and realistic next steps.

Gifted and 2e support

Making sense of uneven profiles, asynchronous development, overload and the gap between ability and day-to-day performance.

School support

Helping parents prepare for school conversations, think carefully about fit and pathways and identify practical adjustments.

Learner profiles

Bringing strengths, pressure points, patterns, evidence and learner voice into a clear picture that adults can work with.

Experience and wider work

The work behind the Hub

I have around 25 years’ experience in education, with close to half of my teaching career spent working in neurodivergent education. Specialist work with gifted and twice-exceptional learners shapes how I understand asynchronous development, hidden ability and the gap between potential and performance.
